Atrial fibrillation is a common abnormal heart rhythm, where the heart’s upper chambers quiver instead of beating normally. Symptoms of atrial fibrillation include palpitations, dizziness, fainting, weakness, fatigue, shortness of breath and angina. Treatment options include medication, defibrillation, surgery and pacemakers.
