Attention Deficit and Hyperactivity Disorder is a neuropsychiatric condition that impacts someone’s ability to concentrate. Commonly referred to as ADHD, this disorder is typified by hyperactivity, erraticism and impulsiveness. Other common symptoms include restlessness and age-inappropriate behaviours. ADHD is most obvious in children but can continue on into adulthood. Treatment involves medication, behavioural therapy, and counselling.
