Haemorrhaging refers to the burst of a blood vessel that causes either internal and external bleeding. External haemorrhaging is characterized by blood leaving the body. External bleeding is usually caused by an injury. Internal haemorrhaging is characterized by blood penetrating the surrounding tissues. Internal bleeding may be caused by either trauma or illness. Haemorrhaging may be treated medically to impede further bleeding, herbal medicine, Traditional Chinese Medicine, Homoeopathy, and the Hindu traditional medicine, Ayurveda.
