Dizziness is the uncomfortable feeling of unsteadiness and disorientation. It can be associated with or caused by a wide range of conditions, and is a symptom rather an illness itself. To treat dizziness effectively, its underlying condition must be addressed, though feelings of faintness, lightheadedness, unsteadiness, a false sense of movement, nausea, imagined spinning and confusion are typical sensations. Bed rest, medication, balancing exercised and the canalith positioning procedure are all methods of treatment.
