Diphtheria

Diphtheria is an infectious disease that is triggered by toxigenic bacteria, starting in the upper respiratory tract and triggering a fever, sore throat, weakness, headache, a false membrane forming over the throat, problems ingesting, and swollen neck glands. Antitoxins, antibiotics, hospitalization, immunization, and homoeopathy are common treatment options.
