Bladder stones form when surplus bodily waste crystallize in the urinary bladder. These stones can be anywhere from 0.2cm to 2cm large, and if the stones are small, there may not be any indicators. However, if symptoms do occur they include bloody urine, painful urination, a frequent, urgent need to urinate (or a sensation that suggests so) and acute abdominal pain. Treatments include surgery, ultrasound therapy, increased fluids, herbal remedies, and Kegel exercises.
