Aortic Stenosis (AS) is a common heart disease that occurs when the aortic valve narrows. This condition puts stress on the heart as the aortic valve is the body’s largest artery, delivering blood to the entire system. AS can lead to a thickening of the left ventricle wall, which is incredibly dangerous. Symptoms include breathlessness, fainting, heart palpitations, chest pains, and fatigue. It may be caused by conditions such as valve abnormalities, calcium deposits, rheumatic heart disease and congenital heart disease. Treatment includes medication, quitting smoking, surgery, homoeopathy, and nutrition therapy.
