WHAT IS CRANIOSACRAL THERAPY?
Craniosacral Therapy has its origins in Osteopathy and has evolved into into a gentle whole body therapy that is deeply relaxing assisting the bodys own natural healing processes. It aids in pain relief and encourages the nervous system organs and musculoskeletal system to balance and heal.
Craniosacral Therapy can be helpful and effective with most conditions and useful in a overall health maintenance. It enhances vitality and gives a general sense of wellbeing. It can help people suffering from stress and anxiety or with delicate or degenerative disorders. Craniosacral therapy is particularly effective and beneficial for mothers and babies.
Regular CST treatments gives women an opportunity to focus on themselves and to celebrate the changes that indicate the development of life within them and then their new baby. Babies too respond quickly to the treatment and it is beneficial to have your baby checked. Compressions and restrictions within the cranial system can happen even during a gentle birth and may lead to common infant problems such as colic, poor feeding excessive crying and breathing difficulties.
