How can I help?
The first thing I would like to say to you is do you want to work on the the underlying cause of your ill health and get relief from your symptoms?
If so then please contact me.
Your personalised treatment program aims at treating you as a whole person as opposed to a list of symptoms to be suppressed.
Your first consultation can take up to 90 minutes as a thorough case history
is taken. This will also include some diagnostic tests including Iridology.
What is Naturopathy?
There are many definitions as there are many different Naturopaths but put simply Naturopathy seeks to treat a cause of an illness by using what Nature has provided. It essentially involves looking at diet and lifestyle and balancing any areas that are lacking or not functioning well. Treatment may include simple dietary advice, allergy testing and/or taking a natural supplement to correct imbalance.
You may be thinking why don't I just buy this from a health food store?
I commonly hear people say they wished they had got professional advice before spending hundreds of dollars on products that either did not suit them, didnt work or they were unsure how to take them or what they were for?
By visiting a Naturopath you often save money as you are being professionally prescribed therapy that is specific to you. You are also counselled in the correct way to use these therapies for utmost
effectiveness.
What is a Medical Herbalist?
A Medical Herbalist is professionally trained in the safe and effective use of Medicinal Herbs. They would be expected to have a diploma in Herbal Medicine and belong to an association such as the New Zealand Association of Medical Herbalists.
As a Medical Herbalist I operate at a herbal dispensary. This allows me to prescribe a personal herbal formula to suit your unique situation.
Herbal medicine is non habit forming and can be used for most health complaints.
As this is a brief overview I encourage you to call for further information.
