ANGELIC REIKI
Reiki is an ancient method of healing facilitation. The word means ‘vital life force energy guided by universal wisdom’. It is a wonderful aid to bringing about deep relaxation and relief from negative stress. Angelic Reiki is based on the idea that angels exist and are willing to help us heal. It's likely that you will experience profound peace and a connection with your guardian angel. Most of the spiritual and religious traditions acknowledge the existence of angels and archangels, who are universally known as 'messengers of God'. Short counselling included with your Angelic Reiki session.

Counselling combined with Angel Card Reading. After selecting a series of cards, a discussion with you about the meanings, how they relate to your life circumstances right now and the insights or solutions the cards are showing you.

ENERGY HEALING
I use a "hands off" healing technique - hands are placed above your body, following the chakra line, imparting universal healing energy to help bring your bodily system into balance. Short counselling included with your Energy Healing session.
HOLISTIC COUNSELLING AND/OR LIFESTYLE ADVICE
A discussion with you about any physical, emotional, mental or spiritual issues that are troubling you, along with advice and guidance. Allows all those thoughts churning in your mind to have a voice in a non-judgmental atmosphere; a very important part of the process. Talking problems through will help to clarify the confused thought processes, which in turn helps you feel better. I also offer Holistic Health and Lifestyle recommendations - how to make choices that are healthier for you and our beautiful blue planet.
All sessions are $75 for 1 - 1.5 hours. If you're experiencing financial hardship, you can just make a Koha/Donation.
After Hours and Home Visits available by arrangement (Whangarei area only). If you're aged under 16 years you must be accompanied to your appointment by a responsible adult.
WHAT IS HEALING AND HOW DOES IT WORK?
Your qualified therapist facilitates or transmits Reiki or other Healing modality energy to you the recipient by placing hands on or just above you. This energy acts to create an environment to help your body heal itself. Bodies have an inbuilt healing mechanism, however when our systems become overwhelmed by stress, worry, negative emotions, lack of sleep, poor diet or lack of fresh air and exercise, it is unable to do its job properly. Healing helps to correct the imbalance. Healing or holistic therapy is not a substitute for mainstream medical care - it works alongside it, so it's important to continue with treatment or medication prescribed by your usual healthcare provider.
A short counselling session is usually included before and after your healing experience. During a session any initial nervousness will melt away and you'll feel relaxed. You may experience heat, cold, tingling, pulsing, feeling a breeze, see colour or images or feel emotional. You may not feel much at all and that's ok too. You are perfectly safe at all times.

Lyn Thomas (formerly Walsh), is an experienced Holistic Therapist, in both New Zealand and Australia. She holds Diplomas in Holistic Counselling and Angel Therapy. She is a Certified Angelic Reiki healing practitioner and holds Angelic Reiki Mastership certification.
