Treatments
We create your own massage procedure using methods of Swedish massage , Deep Tissue massage and Reflexology , separately or as a combination which are tailored to your specific needs. Each treatment begins with:
  • 1st session – initial general health questionnaire followed by massage tailored to your condition.
  • The following sessions – review of your initial questionnaire and a general assessment to determine areas of restriction and tightness.

Swedish Massage Massage increases blood circulation bringing more oxygen and nutrients into the muscle. One of the primary goals of the Swedish massage technique is to relax the entire body. This is accomplished by rubbing the muscles with long gliding strokes in the direction of blood returning to the heart. But Swedish massage therapy goes beyond relaxation. Swedish massage is exceptionally beneficial for increasing the level of oxygen in the blood, decreasing muscle toxins, improving circulation and flexibility while easing tension. Deep Tissue Massage Deep tissue massage helps to release chronic muscle tension or knots. Deep tissue massage is a type of massage aimed at the deeper tissue structures of the muscle and fascia, also called connective tissue. The pressure will generally be more intense. It is also a more focused type of massage. It helps to release chronic muscle tension or knots. Deep tissue massage is invigorating and therapeutic. Tense or stressed muscles block oxygen and nutrients which can cause inflammation and the build-up of toxins. Deep-tissue massage helps relax muscle tissues, release toxins, and get blood and oxygen circulating properly. Reflexology Promote the activity of the parasympathetic nervous system, which stimulates digestion. The underlying theory behind reflexology is that there are “reflex” areas on the feet and hands that correspond to specific organs, glands, and other parts of the body. For example:
  • the tips of the toes reflect the head
  • the heart and chest are around the ball of the foot
  • the liver, pancreas and kidney are in the arch of the foot
  • low back and intestines are towards the heel
Practitioners believe that applying pressure to these reflex areas can promote health in the corresponding organs through energetic pathways. A scientific explanation is that the pressure may send signals that balance the nervous system or release chemicals such as endorphins that reduce pain and stress. About Us
Having been raised in Japan where the art of relaxation, massage and other therapies influenced me and contributed to my today’s understanding of the importance of relaxation for mental, emotional and physical health. I added techniques from other European methods to be able to cater for all conditions. Through my work, I have concluded that subconscious response of women to continual underlying stress, reoccurring stress situations and trauma is quite different from that of men. I also realized that what stresses woman is different from men and subsequently has the short and long-term impact. To develop more knowledge and experience to help women with their specific health needs, I have specialized on women’s wellbeing. While the current focus is on a range of deep muscle relaxation to achieve mental and physical relaxation, I am in preparation of other additional methods. A relaxed mind is strong and agile, a relaxed body is strong and healthy , and in addition, it makes you happy. All women have the need to be looked after.
