Massage
Traditional Thai Massage
It combines elements of yoga, shiatsu and acupressure, working with the energy pathways of the body and the therapy points that are located along these lines. Thai Massage facilitates a sense of unity, wholeness, and balance. It creates a dynamic physical experience that integrates the body, mind, emotions and spirit.
If this is your first experience of a Thai Massage you will notice that it is reasonably vigorous and the Therapists will work on your problem area's and you will find that your symptoms will subside. Please note that authentic Traditional Thai Massage does not integrate the use of massage oils during the treatment and if you are looking for a little more relaxed massage have a look at our relaxation massage.
Deep Tissue Massage
Is designed to relieve severe tension in the muscle and the connective tissue or fascia. This type of massage focuses on the muscles located below the surface of the top muscles. Deep tissue massage is often recommended for individuals who experience consistent pain, are involved in heavy physical activity (such as athletes), and patients who have sustained physical injury, this helps to release chronic muscle tension or knots.
Relaxation Massage
Is a gentle luxurious massage which uses all kinds of techniques including long connective strokes, gentle kneading and some rhythmic rocking from side to side. Option of hot stones
Trigger Point Therapy
Trigger points may cause local pain or referred pain in other parts of the body, such as headaches. By applying manual pressure and vibration to these points, the trigger point massage helps relieve myofascial pain.
Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD)
The lymphatic system is a complex network of vessels and ducts that move fluid throughout the body and is responsible for moving toxins away from healthy cells. When the lymphatic system is blocked, we become defenceless against attacks by virus, fungi, and bacteria. MLD helps improve the efficiency of the lymphatic system so it can fulfil its mission to activate the immune system.
