About Natural Pet
Natural Pet came about from a need to find products that could be used safely on our pets that had no side effects. Natural Pet is situated at the base of the beautiful and rugged Mangamuka ranges in the Far North of the North Island of New Zealand.
Natural Pet is created by myself Paulette Carpenter, my journey into natural medicine started over 10 years ago when I got very sick myself and after trying many trips down the allopathic route, with no relief a friend suggested I go to a Naturopath. Within 6 weeks my health had turned around so spectacularly that I soon became fascinated.
How could something so natural and gentle have made such a difference to my life in such a short amount of time, I then myself started a Diploma in Naturopathy. This was based all around treating humans, but my real love lay with animals. I was also dairy farming at the time in Northland when I started treating my own pets, farm dogs and cows with homeopathy and herbs, heralding fantastic results.
My desire to treat animals rather than humans was too much to be ignored, so I then transferred my training on to a Certificate in Animal Homeopathy and also a Certificate in Herbal Medicine for Companion Animals. I then have followed on to further my training in a Diploma of Homeopathy, I am now a fully qualified Animal Homeopath and Herbalist, also an intern member of the New Zealand Council of Homeopaths.
In the picture above is Pipi on the left and Tag on the right. The Tagiwig range of remedies was named in memory of Tag, who passed away on 11th March 2011.
