I am a Counsellor & Celebrant who will provide you with a professional service to meet your needs.
Hayden Oswin My goal as a counsellor is to assist people with depression and anxiety and in particular assist people with issues and concerns relating to sexual orientation and gender identity.
I've worked voluntarily at OUTLine NZ as a Telephone, Individual , and Group Counsellor for the last eight years, where I have assisted people in the Rainbow Community who are either unsure of their sexual orientation or gender identity. Recently I worked for eighteen months as an Alcohol and Other Drug Counsellor, and this work experience and associated professional development has given me a better understanding of assisting people with addictions.
In 2011 I graduated with a Diploma in Counselling at the Manukau Institute of Technology. I am a Provisional Member of the New Zealand Association of Counsellors and fully support and abide by their Code of Ethics.
My goal as a celebrant is to help you celebrate your milestones in life and to help you transition through life with meaning and relevance.
I offer a range of ceremonies including Civil Unions, Name Givings, House Cleansings, House Dedications, and Birthday Milestones. And specialise in Ceremonies which assist and give meaning to people for Transitions through Change or Crisis.
In 2005 I became a Civil Union Celebrant and graduated in the Certificate in Celebrant Studies at the Auckland University of Technology. I am a member of the Celebrants Association of New Zealand and fully support their Code of Conduct and Code of Ethics.
