Hello and Welcome. My name is Harriet Epstein. I am a qualified Acupuncturist, Chinese Medicine Herbalist and Massage therapist.
Chinese Medicine is a 2000 year old traditional medicine with approaches and techniques that have stood the test of time.
I am committed to helping others with this system that have helped millions of people along their way.

The Chinese Medicine approach to healing is to maintain homeostasis or balance within the body through acupuncture, herbal medicine and tuina massage. Traditionally, this system was practised by the village shamans with a cosmic holistic approach. Today I practice to support the integrity of the body under the stressed and strains of modern day living.

The health problem does not have to be named by western medicine as the Chinese Medicine approach has a unique understanding to gaining health.

About me
I found my love and respect for Chinese Medicine through the practice of Tai Chi, Chi gung and meditation. The theory behind these arts is the same theory behind the medicine. I started mixing herbs in East West herb shop in Neals Yard, Covent Garden, London. I then studied acupuncture in Sri Lanka with the astounding Dr Anton Jayassuria for 2 months and returned from that with the decision to embark on a 5 year degree course at Middlesex University in London. In amongst this, I studied massage - traditional Thai, swedish and Tui na.
I moved to New Zealand from the UK 8 years ago.In 2010, I travelled to Nanjing University with a wonderful group of practitioners to study more acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine under the guidance of Dr Joan Campbell.
I am currently teaching an Acupressure Course at Wellpark College in Auckland.
I am a member of NZASA and an NZIA committee member.
I am ACC registered.
