About Anja
Anja Foley, a Clinical Ayurvedic Lifestyle Consultant and an accredited yoga teacher is the owner of Avida.
Originally from Germany, Anja has settled in New Zealand over 10 years ago. During her career as a Marketing Manager and several journeys to India, South East Asia, the Pacific, Europe and Central America she realised she is ready to welcome people to her own healing place and started her Ayurveda studies in Auckland in 2005. Anja trained with Dr Ajit at the Australasian Institute of Ayurvedic Studies as well as with Dr Gupta, a renowned Ayurvedic doctor from Vrindaban, India.
She practices what she teaches in her daily life and enjoys helping people to take care of their own wellbeing. Anja lives with her husband and their young son on the Kapiti Coast. Anja currently teaches 4 yoga classes each week as well as regularly presents seminars and workshops on Ayurveda and Yoga topics.
