About us
Yoga and Reflexology at the Beach grew naturally from Jeannette’s love of wishing to share natural therapies, yoga practice, passion for preparing wholesome food for others to enjoy and Waihi Beach’s beautiful scenery.
Jeannette McCallum is a reflexologist and yoga teacher who lives at Waihi Beach at the north end of the beach where bush meets ocean. Within a few minutes of the studio is a variety of guided walks – whether it is a quiet stroll through bush around a reservoir, or a more vigorous walk up a native bush clad hill, or a scenic coastal walk with panoramic views along the coast and out to Mayor Island, or a walk along the beach – the choice is yours.
A peaceful yoga and reflexology studio is set beside a sunny, bush-clad bank with pohutakawa trees, alive with birdlife. Feel the world cease to matter as you are pampered with a reflexology treatment, an Ayurvedic Head Massage and/ or a one to one yoga and relaxation session. Meals are served either in Sycamore Cottage or on a deck under a sun umbrella.
Also available are on-line options if you would like a personalised yoga programme, designed just for you. And an Ayurvedic Lifestyle plan comes highly recommended if you feel your lifestyle or health could be improved.
All of this in Waihi Beach that is not only an ideal holiday destination, but centrally located between Auckland, Rotorua, Tauranga and Hamilton; a gateway between Coromandel, Bay of Plenty and Waikato.
