Holistic Massage
Unlike a standard massage that often follows a set routine, focussed purely on the physical body, a Holistic Massage is an individual treatment specifically tailored to your needs at that time. A Holistic approach treats the body as a whole, taking account of your mental, emotional and spiritual well-being as well as your physical.
Holistic Massage is a nurturing process of touch and response. Treatments are adapted to each clients unique needs, physical characteristics and personality. The practitioner works ‘with’ the whole you rather than treating you as just a ‘body’.

Indian Head Massage
As its name implies, Indian Head Massage has been developed from the traditional massage practices of India. From the barbers on the beech, mothers working with their new born babies to families working on each other, massage plays an important part of Indian ‘everyday’ life.

Hopi Ear Candling
Ear candling is a very gentle and safe way of working with ears. Many people think that hot wax is poured into the ear to help remove ear wax. This is far from the truth!
The BioSun Candles we use @ Arcadia are hollow tubes made from organic linen, rolled in bees wax and a mixture of herbs (Sage, Chamomile & St John’s wort), and have a small safety filter in them that prevents anything falling back into the ear canal.

Craniosacral Therapy
Craniosacral Therapy, also for Children and Babies Craniosacral Therapy is a gentle and effective therapy that releases shock and trauma from the body, reconnecting the patient to their life force.
One of the pleasures of working with infants is their rapid response to the work. Sessions are shorter and parents are asked to be present during the treatment.
