Welcome to Maggie Harvey Alexander Technique - I have had 20 years experience in the technique, and am more passionate than ever about the changes that can be made regarding back pain, posture, confidence, performance and generally learning how to be more relaxed. I like to think I am an easy going teacher and often use books under your head (not on top of) while we are working together.

About Maggie I work mostly in private practice but also in the business community - IT companies, law firms, factory floors and hair salons - to name a few. My private practice is from my home in Western Springs, easy parking at the door and handy to bus/train connections. I see people of all ages and walks of life. Another area of interest is working with young adults especially young woman and I conduct smallish workshops (up to 6 participants) for same.
I studied the technique in New Zealand at Directions, in Mt Eden with the fabulous Zvi Lavie and graduated after 3 years.
I am a participating member of aNZTAT, Association of New Zealand Teachers of the Alexander Technique and have been certified by Alexander Technique International (ATI) via a panel including Bruce Fertman (USA) and Alan Capel (Aust).
