About Homeopathy Homeopathy is a natural and safe system of medicine that is used worldwide to treatment acute and chronic illness. Homeopathy offers a holistic approach to the many health issues experienced in the 21st century.
Medicines are prescribed according to the unique and characteristic symptoms of each person’s state. These individually prescribed homeopathic medicines act dynamically upon the body’s innate healing mechanism. This stimulates healing on all levels of our being; mental, emotional and physical. Homeopathy has the capability to address acute and chronic diseases and to support the process of personal growth and transformation.
Homeopathy utilizes thousands of highly diluted medicines from the natural world. These medicines are specially prepared in homeopathic pharmacies according to meticulous pharmacopeia guidelines.
Medicines are prescribed according to their similitude to a person’s symptoms. These medicines have been tried and tested for hundreds of years in a broad variety of health situations; from cholera outbreaks and flu epidemics to the more recent challenges of patients with AIDS and children with Autistic spectrum symptoms. Much of this rich experience has been carefully recorded so that detailed information about the intricacies of each medicine is known. This makes it possible to accurately compare the unique symptoms of the person with the unique aspects of each homeopathic medicine. This can be more simply termed as ‘like cures like.’
Who/What People from all walks of life seek homeopathic treatment for a variety of health issues. Ultimately however it is the person that is treated not their disease label.
The following may help you decide if homeopathy is something that can help you, or someone in your family:
Children:
Many parents seek homeopathic care for their babies, infants and children because of the safe nature of our medicines. Relief can be sort for the many physical childhood ailments from glue ear to chicken pox, and also the difficult emotional and behavioural problems which can make daily life so challenging for both the child and their families. Homeopathy can also be highly effective for children with developmental difficulties and for children in the autistic spectrum.
Children who receive homeopathic care can as a result feel happier and more confident in themselves. They tend to be healthier overall, as homeopathy fortifies the body’s natural immunity. Healthy, happy children tend to settle well at school, form positive relationships with their peers and make good life choices as they grow up.
Women:
Women can seek homeopathic care for their general physical, mental and emotional health issues. Homeopathy is also highly successful in treating menstrual health irregularities.
Homeopathy is a wonderful ally during pregnancy and child birth as the medicines are totally safe to use. Many women successfully seek help with post natal depression, thus avoiding prescription medications at this crucial time.
Men:
Men bring a wide variety of general health issues to the homeopath’s door, including, but not limited to the following; stress, sleeping problems, energy problems, sexual health issues and prostate problems. Homeopathic medicines can also ease the body after injury and strains.
Mental and Emotional Health
Homeopathy can be a wonderfully supportive modality for people struggling with their mental and emotional health. Our medicines can facilitate transformative healing at a deep level with lasting results. Relief can be sought for anxiety, depression, prolonged grief and also for the stresses of everyday life.
Homeopathy and other modalities
Homeopathy is highly effective as a sole therapy. However, it is also possible to safely use homeopathic medicines while taking orthodox medicine or whilst receiving treatments from other complementary modalities. It is also a powerful adjunct to the psychotherapeutic process.
