Welcome to Acupuncture & Bioenergy Therapy Clinic
Though I was born in China, my parents brought me to NZ when I was only 3 years old. This meant that I am pretty well a Kiwi in my upbringing, education, and culture. I am an Otago medical school graduate and specialized in Anaesthesia.
My anaesthetic experience lead me to appreciate the human body’s response to drugs and surgery. Though these are effective means of treatment, I felt that it was not the full answer to the many diseases that are prevalent.
Because of my medical training, I found that I could not correlate to the Acupuncture approach as presented by Traditional Chinese Medicine. It was not until I went to Hong Kong and learnt acupuncture through a western trained doctor that I began to see how acupuncture worked.
I began my practice of acupuncture on my return from Hong Kong 25 years ago. At first I was dealing with relief of pain but gradually over the years, I am treating a very great variety of conditions which the medical profession could not help.
The reason for the evolution in my practice was that I began using the Mora Machine. This machine was invented by a German medical doctor who went to China to learn acupuncture and on his return, realized that acupuncture points could be measured and the energy of the body could be modified by Homeopathic remedies.
The concept that it is the body’s energies that is the cause of disease and treatment of this is the regaining of harmonic energies is now the basis of my treatments.
Conditions which were even beyond the realm of straight acupuncture could now be effectively treated.
