Welcome to The Chamomile Cottage
I am a mother of two children and I have one granddaughter. While my children were growing up I worked from home manufacturing children’s wear. Once they left, I returned to Nursing.
I am now a Registered Comprehensive Nurse. I have been interested in Complimentary Therapies over the last decade. From there I became a Massage Therapist, using essential oils to enhance this effect.
Healing Touch is an energy based therapy. I gained my Practitioners Certificate for this. Reflexology was my next interest and I have now gained my Practitioners Certificate in this also. I am setting up my home-based business as a Reflexologist. The other therapies can be combined to enhance the overall effect and give positive results for benefit of all my clients.
Life is full of learning opportunities, which I embrace. My next project is to study the use of Crystals. I've had many positive results using these wonderful gifts from Mother Nature.
Therapeutic Massage with Aromatherapy
- I use Essential Oils to aid the relaxation and healing process.
- Session time is approx 55-60mins duration.
- Safe, quiet environment.
- Total relaxation for tired, tense muscles.

Reflexology
- I work the pressure points of the feet.
- This takes approx 55-60mins.
- A very relaxing therapy.
How does it work?
Pressure points are pressed on the soles (souls) of the feet. This message is sent to that part of the body, which in turn releases excess tension and congestion. The blood flows more freely, wastes are removed from the body, and the circulation normalizes.
Reflexology Balances Mind, Body & Spirit
- Fact: The body heals itself.
- Recommended to have three treatments, but benefits do show after the first session.
- Very relaxing and energising.
- Benefits for all ages and through pregnancy and illness.
Healing Touch
I work with the Energy Centres (Chakras) and Energy Fields (Auras) in order to bring about harmony, balance and repair.
An energy based therapeutic approach to healing. It uses touch to influence the energy system, therefore affecting the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual health of the body.
The goal is to restore the balance and harmony in your energy field which, in turn, allows the client to do their own self-healing.
Great for spinal discomfort, headaches and general well being.
Ear candles
- This therapy takes approx 20mins for each ear.
- I am monitoring the whole process.
- It is good for those who are swimmers, who have a build up of wax and for glue ear.
- Not for those that have grommets.
