Origins of Reiki
Reiki is a Japanese word referring to Universal - life Forco Energy, the cosmic energy and light which is within and around all matter and which we share with the myriad forms of life.
In general usage the word Reiki also refers to the Usui System of Natural Healing formulated by Dr Mikso Usui carly in the twentieth Century. After years of meditation and research, Dr Usui rediscovered and refined this ancient method of accessing Universal life Energy for the purpose of revitalizing the natural healing processes.
Although ancient in origin, Reiki is ultra modern, being a form of the holistic energy medicine of the future.

Reiki Seminars
Reiki training is divided into three levels.
Reiki 1 and Reiki 2 are each taught in twelve hours over two consecutive days, with a follow-up session after about three weeks.
Seminars are available on weekdays or weekends and are held in small groups to facilitate maximum practical participation. The teaching is done thoroughly, enjoyably and with sensitivity to individual needs.
A detailed manual is provided and a certificate and photograph issued at every level.
Reiki 1 (First Degree Reiki)
You are taught the history of Reiki and the traditional Usui System of Natural Healing’. Four attunements are given and these ensure that you will remain ‘in tune’ with Reiki for the rest of your life. You learn how to apply the Reiki healing energy in everyday life for the benefit of yourself and others.
Reiki 2 (Second Degree Reiki)
If you wish, you may continue with Reiki 2, which is usually taken from 3 to 6 months after Reiki 1. You receive two more attunements which amplify and empower the energy flow. You focus on Reiki as essentially Unconditional Love, the nature of the Higher Self. You also learn specific techniques using sacred energy symbols for ongoing personal transformation, absent and distant healing
Reiki 3A (Third Degree Reiki for Personal Growth)
Once you have completed Reiki 2 you may choose to journey further in Reiki and be attuned to the fourth symbol. For some this will lead to Reiki mastery training.
Reiki Master/Teacher
An intensive 60-how course following two years of (supervised) practice at Reiki Two level for practitioners who wish to become Reiki Masters and Teachers and who are selected for training.
