DISPENSARY
The clinic will make personalized Flower Essence formulas from the First Light Flower Essences of New Zealand - New Zealand's only native plant flower essences or from Living Essences of Australia - native plants of Western Australia.
ABOUT FLOWER ESSENCES
Flower Essences are a gentle vibrational and energy therapy which work energetically on all levels of the human energy field and the chakras. Because of the gentleness and harmless nature of Flower Essences they can be used as an energetic therapy to assist one in their spiritual journey towards soul fulfillment. Flower Essences work well with Complementary, Alternative, Traditional and Orthodox Therapies as they support rather than oppose other Therapies.
WHAT FLOWER ESSENCES ARE NOT
Flower Essences are not to be confused with Aromatherapy which is the use of extracted Essential Oils from plants, or with Homeopathy, which is a chemical, animal or plant substance, which has been shaken then diluted many times until only the vibration is left in the dilution. Flower Essences are not to be used instead of medical treatment. Please consult your health professional for advice.
HOW FLOWER ESSENCES ARE MADE
Flower Essences are made by placing the flowers in a bowl of water in the sun for two to four hours. The aim is to allow the "blueprint or energy of the Flower " to transfer to the water through the warmth of the sun. The flowers are gently removed and returned to the area around the plant. The Essence is then preserved - usually with Brandy. As you can see there is no chemical extraction or shaking involved in the making of Flower Essences. This sun method is the method as developed by Dr Edward Bach in the 20th Century and is the usual method used in the Making of Essences in New Zealand. Dr Bach researched the healing aspects of Plants by finding those plants with a healing response to conditions such as fear. His work is well documented and can be found online or in the numerous books about The Bach Flower Remedies. Dr Bach also used a "boiling" method for some of his remedies but that was necessary in the cooler weather of England and Wales where he made them.
