~ THERAPEUTIC MASSAGE ~
Most modern methods of massage derive mainly from Swedish massage as developed by Per Henrik Ling, a Swede who visited China during the 19th century. Ling was so impressed by the massage techniques he observed when he was there that he synthesized his own form of therapy to incorporate these ancient Oriental skills.
Massage is an excellent way to relax the mind and body, and bring relief from everyday stresses and strains. It also helps to restore a sense of calmness and balance after any shock or trauma.

Touching and stroking are not only important for adults, they also play a vital role in healthy development of infants and young children. Those who care for babies born prematurely know that infants confined to incubators are more likely to thrive when gently stroked than when deprived of shock.

Reiki is a Japanese technique based on the idea that an unseen "life force energy" flows through us and causes us to be alive. When our "life force energy" is low we are likely to get sick or feel stress. When it is high then it is easier to be happy and healthy.
Reiki is most often translated as "universal life force energy" and is pronounced "Ray Key".
The person receiving Reiki will feel relaxed and sometimes sleepy as the energy reduces stress and promotes healing.
Reiki treats the whole person including body, emotions, mind and spirit and creates many beneficial effects including relaxation and feelings of peace, security and wellbeing. It will work in conjunction with all other medical and therapeutic techniques to relieve side effects and promote recovery from illness, accidents and surgery.

EQUINE Reiki ~ The Natural Healing System
The Equine Reiki technique works through your horse’s chakras to balance the horses natural energy system. Once I have communicated with the horse and the horse has accepted my being there I use my own sense of intuition and am often guided to place my hands on certain areas of the horses body. In general a balancing treatment starts on the head, then working through each chakra and finishing at the buttock. (Your horse can also have a full treatment without my hands actually touching his/her body).

A trip fee for animal services of $25 per hour travel time applies. Trip fee may be shared by other call outs in your area.
