Three levels
There are three levels of Reiki,
Reiki I
Students gain access to that energy which animates all things through an attunement process which aligns their energy field. They learn basic hand positions to treat themselves and others. Insights into the connection between health conditions and past trauma are taught.
Reiki II
Students are introduced to sacred symbols. It is taught in conjunction with Reiki I to provide tools for self-protection. The course develops intuitive awareness further and in particular teaches the art of distant healing.
Reiki III/Master
This involves a lifelong commitment to personal and spiritual growth. Some choose to teach while others use the practise to expand their frontiers.
Anna’s role
Anna is an experienced teacher giving individual attention to students. She creates a relaxed and healing environment, with plenty of time for questions. There is theory as well as time to practice Reiki following the attunement process. It is during a seminar that people take one of the longest, and usually most enlightening, journeys of their lives. “Of all the things I collected during a lifetime spent living overseas the most unexpected, profound and practical experience was Reiki. I did not know it then but I was seeking another way to be: Looking for something to transform my life. What sounded, at the time, to be something far removed from my realm turned out to be the one thing that unearthed the essence of who I was. I had not realized until then I was searching for myself !”
She also gathered much wisdom from Indigenous peoples of the world who understand the principles of balance. She learned that the body is not just a physical entity but has mental, emotional and, most importantly, spiritual aspects as well: That the body is connected to all that is i.e. the Great Mystery or Universe. Her travels led to her work with First Nation people in the United States, with Australian Aboriginals and Maori along with peoples from Papua New Guinea and El Salvador.
She also trained in a broad range of modalities which enhance both her treatments and teachings.
Her philosophy is that each person can become the person they were born to be.

Confidentiality and respect are two key components of a consultation with Anna. You could present with anything from a serious physical illness, a headache, an injury or to being at a crossroads in your life. You may be there simply to experience the energy and relax.
As she has a wide range of modalities to draw on (see qualifications) it will depend on what you present with, which treatment(s) she will use. You can always expect to experience the unconditional energy of Reiki. The application of Reiki releases what needs to be released in that particular session.
Anna dispenses flower essences which tend to affirm a treatment by helping to continue restore balance following a treatment..
