Welcome to Papamoa Physiotherapy Clinic
Allow me to introduce myself. I am Steve Tucker, founder and principal physiotherapist of Papamoa Physiotherapy Clinic. Over the years I have developed an effective, comfortable, client centred approach to my work. My main areas of expertise are in spinal injuries and sporting injuries. I have post graduate qualifications in manipulative therapy, ergonomics and provide consultancy services in serious back injury prevention . I also treat a good many post operative orthopaedic clients, such as reconstructive knee and shoulder surgeries. I use deep tissue massage and sports massage, magnetic field therapy, action potential stimulation, spa therapy, exercise prescription, joint mobilisation and manipulation. Acupuncture services are also available here.
We have a private hot spa which clients find very relaxing followed by a soothing massage.
Our rooms are modern and spacious with adequate off street parking and disabled access and facilities.Treatment is provided in airconditioned rooms, in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
You can come directly to me without a doctors referral, to register your injury with ACC and receive appropriate treatment, or go through your doctor if you prefer. If you qualify for ACC funding, the fee is largely paid by ACC.
Feel free to call me to discuss your needs. In some cases, it may be best to refer you to another health professional, for treatments which they are more suited to provide.
