Dr Murray Findlay MChiro, BSc, BA
I was born and raised in Palmerston North, educated at Palmerston North Boys’ High School, gained a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Massey University majoring in History and Economics. It was during this time at Massey University that I was first introduced to Chiropractic following an injury in the gym. The ease and skill with which I recovered from my injury was inspiring.
Through my own personal experience of being diagnosed with asthma by my GP, I came to understand and appreciate the total health philosophy of Chiropractic The adjustment, the feeling of relief, and my subsequent reading more and more about Chiropractic showed me how it fits into our current healthcare system.
I decided that Chiropractic was for me and went to Sydney to study. A few years later having gained a Chiropractic Degree, I came home, moved to Lower Hutt for my first job as an associate doctor. At about the same time I met my future wife, who moved to Auckland soon after we met. But of course, I had to follow her, and to Auckland I came.
Soon after moving to Auckland, I purchased Botany Chiropractic Centre. Since then, it has steadily grown in reputation and is now a well respected Chiropractic Centre of Excellence.
