Lisa Yates is an experienced physiotherapist with a special interest in the pelvic floor and women’s health. As a Mother of three young children and a qualified personal trainer, Lisa is passionate about all things “pelvic floor”. She is advocate for safe return to exercise post-pregnancy and was one of the pioneers behind the Pelvic floor first campaign. Lisa speaks regularly about the Pelvic floor and enjoys sharing her knowledge with her patients & health professionals alike. She has written numerous articles for parenting publications and has presented exercise sessions regularly on TVNZs Good Morning. She has also appeared on TVNZ’s Breakfast and Jacquie Brown’s series; Keep calm and carry on and is. She wrote and co-produced The Core & The Floor DVD - New Zealand’s first post-pregnancy education & exercise programme which has helped thousands of women get in shape after pregnancy and birth.

An initial consultation usually takes around one hour, to ensure a thorough evaluation of your concerns. A referral is not required.

QUALIFICATION DETAILS
Lisa holds a Bachelor Degree in Physiotherapy from La Trobe University, Melbourne Australia. She also has a elite personal training qualification from the Australian Institute of Fitness.
